Kawasaki Recalls 2009-2010 Vulcan for ECU Problem

Kawasaki is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 Vulcan motorcycles.

The engine may stall if the rider is coasting with the clutch pulled in due to an improper setting of the engine control unit (ECU).

The number of units has not been specified.

Kawasaki unveil Z750R

Kawasaki's middlewight naked Z750 has always had a big following and now Kawasaki have introduced the "R" model with a host of enhancements. These include high-grade suspension and brake components from the 2009 and 2010 Z1000 and a new front cowl and two-tone colouring.

Kawasaki Recalls 2009-2010 EX650 Motorcycles for Brake Problem

Kawasaki is recalling certain model year 2009 EX650C9F/Fl and model year 2010 EX650CAF/Fl Ninja 650 motorcycles.

The right rear portion of the lower cowling can interfere with the operator's foot while in the process of applying the rear brake.

676 units are affected.

Kawasaki Recalls 2010 ZR1000DAF for Front Brake Problem

Kawasaki is recalling certain model year 2010 ZR1000DAF/L models.

Under severe riding conditions the left front brake hose may contact the front brake rotor during extremely heavy application of the front brake.

1161 units are affected.

Kawasaki launch the D-TRACKER

Kawasaki Motors UK has announced the launch of the Kawasaki D-TACKER to the UK Market. This is a 125cc compact Super-Moto styled bike with soft compound tyres and a fuel injected engine and described as a "first real bike".

Its great to see Kawasaki producing models that are aimed directly at younger buyers encouraging them to get in motorcycling. This is their second 125cc model on top of their two successful 250cc motorcycles.

With a price tag of just £2849, it features racing style digital instruments, petal disc brakes and competition style front forks and a air-cooled four stroke engine (10 HP) with electric starting.

Kawasaki Recalls 2009 Super Sherpa K250G9F for Engine Oil Passage Blockage

Kawasaki is recalling model year 2009 Super Sherpa KL250G9F motorcycles.

On eligible units, blockage of an oil passage in the engine might restrict oil flow to the cylinder head. This could result in the engine losing power and eventually stopping which could create the risk of a crash.

The number of units has not been announced.

Kawasaki Recalls 2009-2010 Ninja EX250 Motorcycles for Engine Oil Leakage

Kawasaki is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 Ninja EX250 motorcycles.

Porosity in the engine case could allow engine oil to leak, and be deposited on the rear tire. A small number of upper engine cases for the affected model could have porosity in the aluminum casting. This porosity occurs in the vicinity of a pressurized oil passage just above the transmission output shaft.

259 units are affected.

ส่งท้ายความมันส์ ระเบิดความสนุกกับ KSR Mini GP สนาม 4 สำหรับผู้ที่รักและชื่นชอบในรถสไตล์ mini supersport bike อย่าง Kawasaki KSR ที่ทำการแข่งขันกันไปเมื่อ วันเสาร์ที่ 10 ตุลาคม 2552 ที่ผ่านมา โดยยังคงยึดสนามบางกอก เรซซิ่ง เซอร์กิต เป็นสนามประลองความเร็วเหมือนเช่นเคย ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นสนามสุดท้ายของปี 2009 นี้แล้ว

โดยในช่วงเช้า ได้มีการอบรมทักษะการขับขี่ในกลุ่ม KSR เป็นการวอร์มอัพกัน ก่อนที่จะเริ่มต้นระเบิดความมันส์ด้วยการแข่งขันของ KSR เริ่มที่รุ่น Mini GP Stock ต่อกันด้วยรุ่น Relay Pro-Stock ซึ่งภายในแต่ละทีมจะมีนักแข่ง 3 คน และขับขี่กันคนละ 5 รอบ ก่อนที่จะเข้ามาเปลี่ยนตัวกับเพื่อนในทีมทำการแข่งขันต่อไป และขยับความแรงของรุ่นต่อมา เป็น Mini GP Modify ที่รถ KSR ซึ่งผ่านการปรับแต่งมาพอสมควรตามข้อกำหนด อีกทั้งนักแข่งฝีมือก็ไม่ธรรมดาเช่นกัน และรุ่นต่อมาเป็นรุ่นที่หนุ่มๆจับตามองมากที่สุด นั่นคือรุ่น Mini GP Stock (F) ซึ่งเป็นการแข่งขันของสาวๆ ถึงแม้จะเป็นผู้หญิง แต่ฝีไม้ลายมือใช่ย่อยซะที่ไหน เรียกได้ว่าไม่ธรรมดาเลยทีเดียว จากนั้นก็มาถึงเวทีการชิงชัยสำหรับมือใหม่โดยเฉพาะในรุ่น Relay Novice Stock โดยการแข่งจะผลัดกัน 3 คนใน 1 ทีม รุ่นนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับฝีมือของนักแข่งทุกคนในทีม เพราะทาง Kawasaki ได้เตรียมรถ KSR ไว้ให้พร้อมสำหรับการแข่งขัน จึงทำให้การแข่งขันรุ่นนี้มีแต่ความสนุกตื่นเต้นเป็นอย่างมาก ขึ้นอยู่กับจังหวะและนักแข่ง ว่าใครจะมีฝีไม้ลายมือดีกว่าใคร ก่อนที่จะปิดท้ายความมันส์ระดับพระกาฬสำหรับรุ่น Mini GP Open ที่ทั้งนักแข่งต้องมีฝีมือสุดยอดและสมรรถนะของรถแข่งก็ต้องยอดเยี่ยมด้วยเช่นเดียวกัน ทำให้การแข่งขันในรุ่นนี้มีแต่ความมันส์ เร้าใจ และตื่นเต้น ตั้งแต่เริ่มสตาร์ท จนกระทั่งจบเกมการแข่งขันเลยทีเดียว

บรรยากาศ Kawasaki Riding Course

เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ ที่ 4 ตุลาคม 2552 ที่ผ่านคาวาซากิ ได้จัดกิจกรรมการขับขี่ปลอดภัย สำหรับผู้ใช้รถจักรยานยนต์ ท่ามกลางแสงแดดที่ร้อนระอุ แต่ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นของผู้ที่เข้ากิจกรรมเพื่อหาประสบการณ์การขับขี่ในครั้งนี้ ก็ไม่มีใครท้อถอย เริ่มต้นด้วยการแนะนำทฤษฎีเชิงปฏิบิติ ท่าทางในการขับขี่ การใช้ข้อมือ ข้อเท้า เอว คอ ไหล่ การเบรค และการเข้าโค้ง หลังจากนั้นเป็นการฝึกในภาคสนาม เริ่มต้นด้วยการวอร์มอัพ และแบ่งกลุ่มการขับขี่ในช่วงเช้าจนถึงเที่ยง จึงพักและเดินทางไปรับประทานอาหารกันที่ร้านป้าเรย์ ช่วงบ่ายอากาศก็ยังคงร้อนระอุอยู่แต่ก็ไม่เป็นอุปสรรคในการขับขี่แต่อย่างใด สำหรับท่านที่พลาดกิจกรรมดีๆในครั้งนี้ เราได้เก็บภาพบรรยากาศมาฝาก...

บริษัท คาวาซากิ ในญี่ปุ่น ประกาศโยกฐานการผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์มายังประเทศไทย เหตุค่าแรงถูกคุ้มทุนกว่า บลูมเบิร์กรายงานโดยอ้างหนังสือพิมพ์โยมิอูริ ฉบับวานนี้ว่า บริษัท คาวาซากิ เฮฟวี อินดัสทรีส์ บริษัทผู้ผลิตเครื่องจักรกลขนาดใหญ่ในญี่ปุ่น จะเริ่มโยกย้ายฐานการผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ขนาดกลางและรถจักรยานยนต์ขนาดใหญ่ จากเดิมที่ผลิตในประเทศญี่ปุ่นมายังประเทศไทยภายในปี 2553 นี้ เนื่องจากไทยมีข้อได้เปรียบเรื่องค่าแรงที่ถูกกว่า ทั้งนี้ รายงานเปิดเผยว่า คาวาซากินับเป็นบริษัทญี่ปุ่นแห่งแรก ที่ตัดสินใจย้ายฐานการผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ขนาดใหญ่ ทั้งหมดมายังประเทศตลาดเกิดใหม่ อย่างไรก็ดีรายงานไม่ได้กล่าวรายละเอียดที่ชัดเจน ถึงช่วงเวลาและสถานที่ตั้งโรงงานผลิตแห่งใหม่ที่แน่ชัด ขณะที่ก่อนหน้านี้ บริษัท

ฮอนด้า มอเตอร์ ผู้ผลิตรถยนต์รายใหญ่ที่สุด อันดับ 2 ในญี่ปุ่น ได้พิจารณาโยกย้ายฐานการผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ขนาดเล็กและขนาดกลาง จากประเทศญี่ปุ่นมายังประเทศไทยแล้ว แต่ไม่ได้รวมถึงรถจักรยานยนต์ขนาดใหญ่ เนื่องจากติดข้อจำกัดด้านภาษี ในวันเดียวกันหนังสือพิมพ์นิกคัน โคเกียว ได้รายงานว่าบริษัทโตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ผู้ผลิตรถยนต์รายใหญ่ที่สุดอันดับ 1 ของโลกจากญี่ปุ่น มีแผนที่จะผลิตรถยนต์ราคาถูกเพื่อป้อนกลุ่มประเทศตลาดเกิดใหม่ในประเทศจีนและไทยโดยเฉพาะ ซึ่งจะเริ่มภายในปี 2553 นี้ ขณะเดียวกันรายงานยังกล่าวด้วย ว่าโตโยต้าตั้งเป้าจะผลิตรถยนต์ประเภทดังกล่าวในสายการผลิตที่เรียกว่า รถครอบครัวแบบเริ่มต้นที่ 1.5 แสนคัน ต่อปี เพื่อรองรับความต้องการรถยนต์ขนาดเล็กที่มีราคาถูกในกลุ่มประเทศ ตลาดเกิดใหม่
